i was going to clean up the file and make sure there is nothing stupid in a hidden layer, but if it was an artist i wanted to see, i would want to see the raw file.

Some very interesting insight in this.
I was quite intrigued at the simplicity if say the middle image (in terms of shadows and lighting with some flats) compared to how complicated it looks as a final image. In no way do I mean your art is simple, the technique used is excellent- I just mean, you are efficient. And it is nice to see how you work.
In the central image, turning off and on your shadow layers was informative- having an environmental shadow layer and then a layer for more character created shadows is a good idea.

So many layers ö.ö,you don't merge them togheter...umm..i know...it's for showing everybody.Anyway working on so many layers must be chalengeing,hmm...from other site,it force you to focus more on work,what is good ,I think.
Nice to know how you work,interesting.

yea i find its easier to make changes if parts are separated into layers. i guess its a habbit from doing so much character design for people, never know when they want to change something~
