and yea i had brushes for grass, clouds and birds, but i made the swords, cloth patterns and emblems brushes the brush i use most is a flat pallet knife thats angle tilt sensitive to my pen
and remember... its not the brush that makes the art, its what the artist is able to do with the brush (=
Very nice dude! I like how you take those little divets out of the swords, it adds a bit of an industrial twist.
Also, if you don't mind me saying, the gradient backgrounds actually detract a bit from your work. Your stuff has a lot of texture and gesture, so the smooth, controlled gradient tends to look out of place. Not that you have to listen to me, just my opinion.
lol, I really like the armor design and the fact that you included a background this time making a more complete image, but the one thing that sticks out as cool is your characters greaves (his shoes), the shape of them is spot on for a chain mail character, and just really cool heh

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
This contest ends on Friday the 18th December 2009. If you want to enter, get your entries in quick! Here are all the entries so far. Also if you want to donate a prize, that would be fantastic too, just note me
