omg... i started out with the intention of doing a warm up but it turned it to a mad science brush creation operation!
tried adding a background this time, been leaving too many blank or with my signature "gradient" haha the character was supposed to be a random samurai but i kinda turned him into an altered version of my shy character hope you guys like it! feed back appreciated (= photoshop cs/ tablet/ ???hrs |

and yea i had brushes for grass, clouds and birds, but i made the swords, cloth patterns and emblems brushes
the brush i use most is a flat pallet knife thats angle tilt sensitive to my pen

Also, if you don't mind me saying, the gradient backgrounds actually detract a bit from your work. Your stuff has a lot of texture and gesture, so the smooth, controlled gradient tends to look out of place. Not that you have to listen to me, just my opinion.
