riske, you are so silly and naive, genji doesn't care about you!
this was a fun page, different, but fun. looking forward to the action but i want to get some more character interactions before then. hopefully we can get penelope to speak up next page, but i think riske talks enough for the both of them haha.

Hmm. Are you transitioning more towards line art? Maybe it's just me, but your characters use to have a lot more depth (Artistically) and it seems like they aren't as heavily layered with tones and shadow as they used to be. Is this a stylistic choice for the flashback or a long term artistic shift?

Hey, I love experimenting and I think it keeps things interesting. I really don't mean to come off like I don't think your work is absolutely great, I know a lot of artists like to nit pick to tear others down even if they are not as good.

I'm just trying to give honest feedback. I don't think it is as strong as your earlier stuff but rarely do I see artists try to improve their style as a comic goes along so I can't wait to see where your going with it. I'm reminded of when Yu Yu Hakusho had a big shift in art quality about half way through the manga run and everything got a lot more realistic, it was kinda a shock but also cool cuss you saw how the artist had improved.
